About the project:
For the very first time in the long history of cotton processing in West Africa, a team of experienced craftsmen and -women from Burkina’s foremost professional textile association, UPROTEX, has worked together to create a complete collection of six colour co-ordinated hand-woven fabric ranges within one design philosophy - "L'Esprit de Burkina - The Fabric Collection".
Clemens Hackl Design was asked to develop the brand identity for the project, "inspired by the spirit, the beauty and history of the textile heritage of the people of Burkina Faso".
As part of the coporate identity and marketing material we also designed a folder system, where individually designed portfolio sheets, profiling the companies involved, could be collected and archived, providing a flexible and cost-effective way of distributing new additions to the collection.
