London based Clemens Hackl Design is a multidisciplinary design studio focusing on branding and multimedia application. Since 2005 they have delivered design lead solutions across all sectors, they create personalised services for individuals, business, institutions, charities and organisations. CHD prides itself of being a truly international brand providing tailored services to suit the global market place, having worked to date across 10 plus nations in Europe, USA, Africa and Asia markets.
Our vision is to provide our clients with the right innovation and technology to effectively communicate their brand across all disciplines from, corporate stationary to social media marketing and interactive multimedia. We like to work closely with our clients, ensuring our understanding of their needs, to achieve the best possible results for their unique purposes.
Our services are delivered through brand development, implementation and multimedia. We consult, develop and design; brands, corporate identities, print materials, installations, websites and interactive applications. We believe creativity makes design unique, identity and functionality make it work.

Clemens Hackl
Our Creative Director @clemenshackl is a true international, having worked across the globe. Originally from Germany he studied Communication Design at the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf. He began his career in the late 90’s at the advertising agencies BMZ!FCA, BBDO and Ogilvy & Mather. Graduating with an MA in ‘Interactive Multimedia’ at the University of the Arts London in 2001, he has since been based in the British capital.
Since founding CHD, career highlights include:
- Conference presentation at the British Embassy in Moscow, Russia, on ‘Brand Communication in the New Media Environment’.
- Creating an interactive installation at the Victoria & Albert Museum commissioned by the University of the Arts London and Sir John Sorrell, featuring ‘Inspired Design from Great Britain’.
- Lecturing ‘Motion Graphics and Design’, at the University of Applied Sciences and Technologies in Salzburg, Austria.
- Consultancy projects including work for SAP and Fujitsu.
Clemens is passionate about supporting non-profit ventures and presently is the Creative Director for the Steering Committee of the African & African-Caribbean Design Diaspora.
